Nights are spent on board of the ship. Swimming, snorkeling, Scuba Diving and other water sports activities.
Cruise based package (Lakshadweep Samudram) availed tourist will enjoy the following facilities without any additional payment in the island of their visit as the cost of which included in the package cost.
i. Kavaratti Island - Glass bottomed boat ride, Kayaking, visit to Fisheries Museum and Folk Dance.
ii. Kalpeni Island - Snorkeling, Kayaking, Factory Visit and Folk Dance.
iii. Minicoy Island - Kayaking, Light House visit, Village visit, Folk Dance.
iv. Kadmat Island - Kayaking, Glass bottomed boat ride, Factory visit, Folk Dance.

The embarkation is at Lakshadweep Passenger Center, Wellington Island, Cochin from 09:00am to 10:00am.
. There you get through – Collecting tickets, Checking In, Security check etc. Should be aware that no alcohol is allowed to be carried or consumed on this cruise. Let the company take our luggage on board, and it will be at our seat.
MV Kavaratti is a passenger ship which departs from Kochi to the island and between the islands. During the day, it drops the ‘tourists’ off at the tourist resort islands. The ship is clean and well maintained. The cabins are comfort size with air-conditioned and ensuite bathrooms.
The meals on board are tasty. The filtered water is safe to drink. The tea is always sweetened.
The tourists visit three islands in turn. Kalpeni and Minicoy in that order – but the order does change. The schedule of the day is similar in each day: 7 am breakfast (6.30 am sweetened tea), then don life jackets (provided in the cabin) to jump onto the launches which take you to the island shore. Back on the launches between 4-5 pm and dinner at 7.30 pm on board.
Every day is full of experience. Once back on MV Kavaratti you just take a shower, eat your evening meal, and then relax. Catch another island by the next day. The lack of ‘luxury cruise ship’ amenities is immaterial because of the excitement of each island visit. On the final day, we will be back to Cochin at 12 pm.
Day 1 Departure From Kochi
Boarding time will start at 9:00 am. Please be patient while in queue for check in, All Passengers, including children’s mandatory to carry photo ID cards. After the security check in, you will be transported by bus to Wharf and board to MV Kavaratti. A short instructional video show also will be screened depicting the various facilities available on board the ship and about the rules and regulations to be followed by the tourists on board for their own safety and for the safety of co-passengers.

Few about the Islands
Kavaratti Island: Located 404 kms. From Cochin. It has been the headquarters of the U.T Administration since 1964. You have enough time to explore the island. The beautiful calm lagoon forms an ideal spot for water sports, swimming and basking on warm sandy beaches. Marine life exhibits can be seen at the new MARINE AQUARIUM which has an excellent collection of specimens.
Kalpeni: Located 287 kms. from Cochin. It is known for its Scenic beauty and the small islets called Tilakkam and Pitti and an uninhabited island on the north called Cheriyam. A huge shallow lagoon encloses all of them. A peculiar feature of KALPENI atoll is the huge storm bank of coral debris along the eastern and south-eastern shorelines. Here, one can swim, reef-walk or water sport on kayaks, sail boats and pedal boats. A visit to the Banian Factory and the Light House is also included in the day’s program.
Minicoy : Located 398 kms. from Cochin. It is about 10.6 Kms. long: it is the second largest island. It is the southernmost island in Lakshadweep, crescent shaped and has one of the largest lagoons. Viringili is the small islet that can be seen in the south. MINICOY is set apart from the northern group of islands by its culture. The LightHouse of the island is one of the oldest and was constructed in 1885. One can visit the villages, tuna canning factory, the lighthouse and go for a long drive through dense coconut groves and winding village roads. The beaches have bathing huts and change rooms. So swim and beach walk, Pedal boat, Kayak and Sail.

Please transfer 75% of the total cost. Balance payment immediately after the confirmation. Seat confirmation is subject to availability. If your seats are not confirmed we will refund the full amount.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- 10% cancellation charge will be deducted if the booking is canceled 30 days before.
- 25% cancellation charge will be deducted if the booking is canceled between 29th to 7th days before.
- No refund if canceled within 7 days before the departure of the ship.
REFUND POLICY
100% refund if the schedule is canceled due to unfavorable weather conditions and/or other unexpected technical faults. No damages/claims will be payable except money paid.

i. Foreign nationals, only with “tourist visa” will be permitted to Lakshadweep islands
ii. Reporting time to our facilitation desk at the, First floor, Lakshadweep Wharf and Passenger Facilitation Center, Near FCI Godown, Indira Gandhi Road, Willington island at 10:00 AM. Ship departure time 12.00 AM.
